Holidays Calendar app good for
I was looking for a program like this. I would have given it five stars if it would have included Canada and also the option to create/ add on your own day. Would like to see it in its next version!!! Keep up the good work.
I like the fact that not only us holidays were on the calendar, but also Canadian and Swiss. If one feature could be added it is the ability to add your own "holidays". For example vacations, and "bruecke" days.
I like this one more than I thought I would. You can customize it extensively and it covers past and future years in a convenient fashion. Nicely laid out. Tasteful. Easy to use and I recommend it instead of using the default calendar to keep track of upcoming holidays.
Excellent application. I would give it a five star if the holidays could be automatically transferred over to the iPhone calender.
Id like brief descriptions of the holidays, nut aside from that this is a very good application.
It does what it claims to do quite well. I like the fact it is international in scope because I travel for work a lot.
Unfortunately the very first holiday I checked was wrong! In Canada, in 2010, Victoria Day is May 24 not May 17 as the calendar says - so it loses a star. Hopefully the developers will notice this review and fix the error.
(5/10 update - restoring the 5th star because the Victoria Day bug I reported was fixed promptly!)
Some bad moments
Im an educator and wanted a calendar to track days schools are closed but disappointed that some Hawaii state holidays are not listed. Should at least allow consumer to make the additions. Whats the sense of posting state holidays if its not complete?!
Kind of crappy to sale things and show them in English but then after there purchased put it in another language. Thank goodness I only wasted $1
What a huge waste of money. Doesnt contain a complete list of holidays that may or may not be celebrated by Americans.
If you want to pay a buck for a LISt....this is the app for you.

Sorry to say that I thought this "calendar" would somehow, maybe magically, place the holidays that I selected on my "real calenday. Just because I have one on a Palm Lifedrive that did just that, I figured this one would as well. Well, shame on me. This is a cute program that is a list of holidays that does not have anything to do with a calendar. Sorry, but this was a waste of money.
Stupid app, a total rip off, will not import to your calendar, just list.
