Frustrated

Im so frustrated with this app. In my calendar there is an entry for New Years Day starting on Jan 1, 2016 and ends on Jan 2, 4017. I cant edit or delete this entry and when I try, the screen freezes. I have to close the calendar completely in order to open again to see the days. And now I have contacted support and cannot get a response. I would love to just be done with this app but so far I will have to see it until the year 4017!!!
UPDATE: Udo, the software guy, emailed me. He said the problem is when it is on an exchange server. He told me to delete New Year holiday w the Outlook calendar. It worked!!! Thank you, Udo.
